Poster Presentation Guidelines

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

1. All posters should be prepared in A1 size (23.39″ x 33.11″ or 594 x 841 mm) and set in portrait orientation. If it does not conform to this maximum size, we regret it may not be possible to mount the poster.
2. Use legible fonts and larger sizes, preferably more than size 20.
3. Figures, tables, graphs and/or photographs can be used where suitable but should be presented in a clear, concise, tabular format.
4. The poster should include the title of the poster, Authors and their Affiliations, Corresponding author email address.
5. If any logo of the affiliated institutions is used, it may be added to the upper left-hand of the poster.
6. The poster number should be mentioned in the upper right-hand corner of the poster, and the first author/ presenting author’s photograph in the right-hand corner of the poster (optional). The poster number will be announced close to the conference start date.
7. The poster’s contents should include Background, Objectives, Methods, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, References and Acknowledgement.
8. For posters on literature review, the contents should include Introduction, Literature review, Methods used, Discussion, Conclusion and References.
9. Please bring your poster; do not send it to us in advance. Presenters will be allotted specific slots for their poster presentation; at which time the presenters need to mount the poster and be available at their poster for presentation and discussion. Please take down your poster at the end of the allotted slot.
10. Velcro for mounting your poster will be provided at the secretariat counter.
11. The poster board is double-sided, with one presentation on each side. Your assigned number will be in the upper right-hand corner of the poster board. The boards will be arranged in numerical order in the exhibit area.
12. A handout with your poster’s key messages and contact details will be helpful, and you are encouraged to bring some with you (optional).
