Introduction

The 1st UniKL RCMP Postgraduate Colloquium 2023 acts as a premier scientific discussion platform for postgraduate students to present their research findings and share their research ideas. It is an effort to provide students with an opportunity to cultivate students’ academic, research communication and presentation skills. It also provides an avenue for students to be engaged in scientific discussions with fellow researchers

    Abstract Submission Guidelines

    Abstracts must be prepared in English.

    The text must be typewritten in Times New Roman. Information on Font size can be obtained from Abstract Template
    (CLICK HERE).
    Abstract texts should have the following structure: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
    The abstract may contain up to a maximum of 300 words.
    Please provide 3 to 5 keywords representing the main content of the abstract.

    Modes of Presentation

    Oral Presentation:
    All presentations shall be made in English.
    The allocated time for the presentation is 10 minutes, followed by 5 minute Q&A session.
    Presenters are encouraged to use MS PowerPoint for their presentations.
    The presenter’s name and abstract ID must be included in the file name of the PowerPoint presentation.
    In the interest of fairness, presenters are reminded to keep to the allocated time frame.

    Poster Presentation:
    All presentations shall be made in English.
    The size of the poster must be A1 size: 594mm x 841mm.
    The poster shall clearly display the following information: the title of the research, the name of the author(s), email, and affiliation.
    The respective author(s) of a poster must be present at their display during the poster viewing session.

    Abstract Acceptance

    The abstract will be reviewed by the Postgraduate Colloquium Scientific Committee. The acceptance of the abstract will be notified by e-mail to the presenting author. Important information regarding the allocated session will be relayed to the presenting author. Kindly ensure all information provided in the registration form is correct.

    Publication

    All accepted abstracts will be published in the Proceedings of Asian Journal of Medicine and Health Sciences (MyCite-indexed journal)
