Guidelines for Extended Abstract Submission

Deadline: 30 October 2025

Presenters in the 3^rd UniKL RCMP PG Colloquium are cordially invited to submit extended abstracts in accordance with the following guidelines. The extended abstract will be published in Asian Journal of Medicine & Health Sciences (MyCite-indexed journal).

1. General Instructions

• Authors are expected to adhere closely to the extended abstract template to ensure consistency.
• Extended abstracts must be written in English.
• The length should be between 5–8 pages (including figures, tables, and references).
• Submissions must be in Word (.docx) or PDF (.pdf) format.
• The document should be formatted on A4 size paper, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
• Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double spacing.

2. Structure of the Extended Abstract

Each extended abstract should include the following sections:

1. Title
   • Concise and informative (maximum 20 words).
   • Bold, centered, 14-point font.
2. Authors and Affiliations
   • List all authors’ full names.
   • Provide institutional affiliations and email addresses of corresponding author.
3. Abstract
   • Maximum 300 words summarizing the study.
   • Structured into background, objective, methods, results, and conclusion
   • No figures, tables, or citations allowed
4. Keywords
   • Provide 3–5 keywords, separated by commas.
5. Main Text
   • Suggested structure:
     • Introduction (background, objectives)
     • Methods (approach, materials, analysis)
     • Results and Discussion (key findings, interpretation)
     • Conclusion (summary, significance, possible future work)
6. Figures and Tables
   • Must be clear, high resolution, and properly labeled.
   • Captions should be centered and placed below figures and above tables.
7. References
   • Use Vancouver referencing style only.
   • List only the most relevant references.

3. Formatting Requirements

• Page Numbers: Do not include.
• File Naming: Use the format: FirstAuthor_ShortTitle.docx (e.g., Ali_NanoFormulations.docx).
• Plagiarism Policy: Submissions will be checked for similarity. Abstracts with more than 20% similarity may be rejected.

4. Submission Process

• Notification of acceptance will be sent by 15 November 2025.
